Hi there! My name is Andreas and I will be really glad to be your host in Lefkada and in the cottage! There are 2 houses on the same property/land. The Olive Grove Cottage which is the guest house as well as a 2 storey house where me and my father are staying. During your stay we will be your neighbours in a safe distance. You will have your own privacy and we will have our own. We will be available if you need any assistance always respecting your privacy. Please remember to mention the time of your arrival in Lefkada in order to make the proper arrangements for your check in. Check in time is 5pm but sometimes an early check in could be possible upon availability. Please enquire with me. Heating: The house is also perfect for winter accommodation. It has electrical convectors by Nobo, an Air-Condition inverter by Daikin and a bathroom fan heater. There is also a working fire place and a wood stove. Long term winter stays: For long term stays (more than 28 nights) there is a special discount on price per night. The price includes heating by electricity, hot water, WiFi and wood supply for the first 7 days. Firewood delivery on request can be arranged and you will have to pay for the wood. Please enquire with me for more info. Cleaning : During a long term stay it is recommended to apply a professional cleaning in the apartment 1 or 2 times per month. The cottage, located on a hill within an olive grove, has a view of Lefkada city, the lagoon and the beaches of Gyra and Μili. It is built in the traditional country style with wood and stone. It is 2.5 km. from the village of Tsoukalades, 3.5 km from Ai Giannis beach, 5 km. from the town of Lefkada, and 6 km from Pefkoulia beach close to Agios Nikitas. It can accommodate up to 4 guests, preferably 2 adults and 2 children. It has 1 main bedroom with a double bed and a fireplace, 1 living room with 2 single beds that are also being used as sofas, a big table that can be used as a dinning table and a smaller one for extra use. The living room has also a wood stove. The main bedroom has a wall made of natural rock. The bathroom has a shower and it is inside the main bedroom. There is a small kitchen equipped with all the necessary appliances like Coffee/Nespresso machine, electric oven with cooktop, kitchen utensils, kettle, toaster, sandwich maker, juicer and refrigerator. The living room has also an air condition unit and a roof fan and the main bedroom has another roof fan. There is also a 47" TV with Chromecast and a bluetooth speaker in the living room. The outdoor area is spacious and offers great view to the sea and to the nature. There are many olive trees and pine trees around so the wind chill that comes from the mountains is always fresh and cool. The yard has 2 sitting areas made of concrete and a big dining table with chairs. There is also an outdoor shower, barbecue and a traditional wood oven as well as plenty of parking space for your car. Right next to the house there is a small storage room where you can have access to the washing machine and to the ironing board. Also in the storage room there is a small dishwasher easily accessed from the kitchen through a window. Towels, linens, blankets, toilet paper, shampoo, hand/body soap and hair dryer are provided. There is also free high speed WiFi internet in all areas.

The location is very quite and you can always listen to the sounds of nature. There are 2 more houses in the neighborhood in a distance from the cottage. You can reach the main road that connects Lefkada and the west coast of the island in a couple of minutes' walk. How to come: Access to and from the cottage is relatively easy. The main road connecting Lefkada with the western side of the island is 300 meters from the cottage. The road leading to the cottage is uphill and requires little attention, especially when you leave from the property. It is a road made of cement but it is also narrow and has limited visibility at the point that joins the main road. For better convenience a hired car or a motorbike are recommendable. Access to the best beaches of the island is easy by car or motorbike. The location is also very close to the town of Lefkada to make your walks, go to a restaurant or to buy your groceries. The nearest beach is 3.5 km from the cottage and it's name is Ai Giannis beach on the North/West side of the island. The cottage is only 5 km. away from the town of Lefkada, 2,5 km. from the village of Tsoukalades, 6 km from Pefkoulia beach and 8 km. from Aghios Nikitas village.
