Enjoy the luxury of your own house in our family run holiday home! Holiday House Heraklion is a spacious family-friendly vacation home, beautifully designed in Greek Island style, the marble floor, the Greek ornaments combined with modern design in natural colors, create a peaceful balance of elegant style paired up with authenticy. The apartment has two large bedrooms in light colours inspired by the sea. Both have a king-size bed and are connected to a big terrace where you can enjoy the sun or shade. The one bedroom has an extra 1-person bed, the other room had an additional babybed. The bright living room with marble floor is designed to make you feel at ease instantly. There is a flat screen TV, boardgames and travel guides. The modern well equipped kitchen has a large wooden table wich has place for 6 persons. There is an oven with a 4-ring stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee maker, kettle and children chair. The bathroom has a bath, wc, washbasin with mirror, hair dryer and washing machine. Iron and ironing board are available in the accommodation. There is free parking space and there is a high speed Wi-Fi connection throughout the accommodation.

"Kalos orisate" Welcome! My name is Danielle and together with my husband Georgios we welcome you in "Holiday House Heraklion". Our goal is to make you feel home, far away from home. After working many years in the tourism branch we decided to rent out our own holiday home in 2017. The past years we hosted a lot of great people from all over the world and had a lot of positive reactions. This made us to continue with a lot of positive energy and we decided to completely renovate and refurnish the accommodation last winter. We live together with our two children next to the holiday home, so any time you need us we are available. We can help you with advice or inside information about all the beautiful and unique places Crete has to offer. We speak English, Dutch, Greek and basic German. We are looking forward meeting and welcoming you!

Holiday House Heraklion is located in a peaceful side street of the cozy boulevard "Leoforos Knossou". On walking distance (ca. 200 meters) you’ll find 2 supermarkets, taverns, coffee bars, lounge bars a pizzeria, and several other shops such as a mini-market, pharmacy, clothes shop and an ATM. The apartment is based on the ground floor in a neat, quiet area with a bus stop only 100 meters away. The bus comes very frequently and will take you to the city centre of Heraklion in only 5 minutes! At the corner of our street is a little bakery where you can sit outside on the sunny terrace to enjoy a nice cup of coffee or fresh squeezed orange. The world famous (archaeological site) "Palace of Knossos” is only 2,5 km away. The beautiful sandy beaches and sea are waiting for you 4 km away. The accommodation is  500 meters from the highway to the east, the west and south; which makes it perfect should you wanna discover Crete by car. The airport is only 3,6 km away. Our holiday home is perfect for families with children, travelers who want to explore the beautiful and unique Crete, guests who search for a peaceful place away from mass tourism or for a relaxing sun and see holiday!
