Welcome to The Bougainvillea! Named after the tree flooding the living room with pink light, our spacious 123-square-metre home is centrally located, peaceful, and sustainably furnished with the finest work of local craftspeople and artists. It’s 150 metres from the Skopelos harbour and offers Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen. The Bougainvillea can comfortably sleep five people: two in each double bedroom and one in the study. A sixth person could sleep on the kitchen built-in sofa. There are three floors. The ground floor is paved with terracotta tiles. The thick stone walls make it a cool shelter from the summer heat. The kitchen, dining table, and bathroom are all here, and so is a comfortable built-in sofa where you can enjoy your coffee or simply have a chat while preparing your food or playing a game of backgammon. The middle floor consists of a double bedroom and the Fireplace Room, which can be used either as a study or as a single bedroom. The double bedroom is air-conditioned and the Fireplace Room has a fan (and a fireplace obviously but you probably won’t need that!). The traditional hand-carved sofa in the Fireplace Room can be a bed or simply a vantage point to enjoy the beautiful Skopelos view through the window. An elegant wooden staircase leads up to the living room and the balcony. In the middle of the summer, the living room glows with brilliant pink light as the sunshine pushes through the bougainvillea’s flowers and into the house. A double door leads to the master bedroom, with its own shower, balcony, ceiling fan and air-conditioning unit. We believe in a simple, sustainable, and thoughtful way of life. Having spent your day in the island’s clear turquoise waters, you can come home for a good night’s sleep on the Cocomat mattresses and pillows, handmade in Xanthi with natural materials such as coconut fibres and even seaweed!

Η πολυετής εμπειρία μου στο χώρο του τουρισμού μπορεί να αποτελέσει εχέγγυο για την καλύτερη διαμονή σας στο νησί. Κύριο μέλημα μου είναι να αφουγκραστώ τις ανάγκες των πελατών από πριν την άφιξη τους στο κατάλυμα μου έτσι ώστε να έχουν μία όσο το δυνατόν καλύτερη και πιο ευχάριστη διαμονή. H γειτονία είναι ήσυχη και πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο και στο λιμάνι, μόλις 100 μέτρα. Η πρόσβαση είναι δυνατή από δρόμο χωρίς σκαλοπάτια.
