Asteri in Greek means ‘Star’ and this villa in Katsarata village near Fiskardo certainly lives up to it cosmic name. Its hillside, semi-rural setting offers breath-taking views of the whole area and the islands of Lefkada, Ithaka & Meganisi can be seen over the water as well as mainland Greece. The ground floor of the accommodation comprises of an open plan & well equipped kitchen/diner, a spacious living room and a convenient shower room. Outside there is the private pool with sunloungers and parasols! On the first floor there is a twin bedroom which shares a large balcony overlooking the swimming pool , a master bedroom with one double bed and en suite shower bathroom, a third bedroom offering 2 twin beds and an additional shower bathroom in hallway acommodating up to 4 guests in total, the views of the sea , nearby villages from the bedrooms are spectacular to enjoy your breakfast or a home made cocktail gazing to the pink sunsets! The village of Magganos is 1.5km away where you will find tavernas and two excellent mini markets, goods can also be delivered to the villa if guests wish to make such an arrangements with the shops. Foki beach is approx 10 minutes away by car and the popular village of Fiskardo approx 15 mins. There are many little coves to explore at this end of the island, some of which can only be reached by boat. You can hire motor boats from the cosmopolitan village of Fiskardo – this is the watering hole for the visiting yacht flotillas and has an excellent and varied choice of eateries. A rental car or transportation is essential when selecting to stay at an uphill village such as Katsarata. The closest tavernas are within 10 minutes drive. This is a traditional self catering villa, guests are responsible to bring their own supplies, daily housekeeping is not included. Wifi can reach up to 24 mbps speed as there is lack of optic fiber structure in area. Open space Parking is available at the villa.

Katsarata is considered by many to be “la crème de la crème” of the region and is an ideal “home feeling” destination, for those who are looking for quiet holidays. Fiskardo is approx 15 minutes by car and around the area, one can find many beautiful beaches, such as Foki, Alaties, Agia Jerusalem & Emplissi.
