Kritsa is a wealthy traditional village with its own unique colour and history both ancient and byzantine. The centre of the village is only 5 mins walk where you can find groceries but also traditional cafes, taverns, bakeries and gift stores of local arts & crafts. There is a bus stop that connects with public transport the nearest town of Agios Nikolaos and the seaside in under 15 mins. It's only 11 km away by car. There are a lot of mountain rides to surrounding villages and countryside and a very rich network of pathways for hiking to the hilly and bio-diverse landscape. At the close-by bay of Mirabello there are many organised or remoted beaches to enjoy swimming while using the efficient public transport or riding a bike or a car. The airport is 60 km away and about 1.5 hour by bus to the town.
