Okeanis Apartments & Suites is designed for adults only to offer relaxing , quiet and spacious accommodation with a shared to its residents swimming pool and lush gardens, only a 10min walk from Katelios sandy beach and its tavernas! It’s semi-rural setting has views of the countryside and overlooks the picturesque fishing village of Katelios, Zante island and Ionian sea. The building is light, bright and offers a total of 4 self catering accommodation rooms. Each room is equipped with one double bed 160 x 200, individual bathroom with shower , a dining table, kettle , Coffee machine Filter & Espresso, toaster, electric brig, dishware, glassware, small basin and mini fridge in case you wish to enjoy dining in , patio/balcony furniture , pool towels & beach bag, flat screen TV. Some of the accommodations additionally include a double sofa in lounge , please check each apartment's description for exact specifications. On the ground floor there are two individual open plan studios with pool & garden view and direct access to the pool. On the upper floor there are two individual suites with gorgeous sea view and garden views from their private balconies, built with traditional beautiful exposed wooden beams. The large terrace area has a swimming pool and plenty of sun loungers and parasols for those relaxing days by the pool! Katelios sandy beach is just a 10 minute walk away where you can find sun loungers, umbrellas and also small motor boats to rent – a great opportunity to explore the coast! Important info: Please note this is not a hotel there is no daily housekeeping, towels change every 3-4 days, linens every 7 along with full cleaning service. The last 40meters leading to Okeanis's gate are uphill road and not flat , please take into consideration a rented car is advised for further island exploration as Kefalonia is a natural marvel waiting to be explored!

Katelios village offers a golden sandy coast, a natural harbor facing Zante island and mainland Greece where you can rent sun loungers and parasols, Ratzakli beach is also a vast golden sandy beach with shallow waters where Caretta Caretta turtles lay their eggs each year and is protected by strong winds - a perfect choise for a windy summer day , however a car or taxi is needed to get there as the walk is lengthy and uphill. Skala village 20 min away by car or taxi offers an amazing beach and many restaurant and shops selection across. Kefalonia has many beautiful beaches and sceneries to offer, we recommend renting a car for a couple of days to plan for a day trip to famous Myrtos beach, an exploration trip to Asos village and then dinner at Fiskardo marina which can be combined on 1 day visit from Katelios. Nearby of course but again with the necessity of a car you cannot miss the amazing views from St George's Castle, Ainos National Park (one of the tallest mountains of Greece) for hiking and mountain pic nics, the lovely tour of Lassi and Pessada area (from Pessada harbour during high season you can also get a ferry and travel to Zante's Navagio right across), other amazing sandy beaches include Avithos, Ai Helis, Ammes, Platis and Makris Gialos, Agios Thomas, Argostoli town is only 30min away via car or taxi. If days allow we also suggest a day trip from Sami port to Ithaka one of the most famous Greek islands. The South coast of Kefalonia offers sandy beaches with warm water whereas the North offers white pebbled beaches and rugged natural beauty with cooler water. With so many areas and different sceneries Kefalonia covers all aspects a traveler is seeking! For the wine lovers you may explore also the opportunity to book a visit at one of the local wineries and try different varieties of local wine besides the famous Robolla white wine which is celebrated every summer at August's Robolla fiesta at Fragkata village - a traditional Greek festival!
