Villa VagElia is located in the Episkopi of Rethymnon, 14 km from the city of Rethymnon and 38 from the city of Chania. Episkopi beach is the largest in Crete with a coastline of 12 km where there are taverns, cafes and beach bars. The house is only 2.7 km from the beach. Lake Kournas, Georgioupolis and the springs of Argyroupoli are only a few minutes away. It consists of two floors, on the ground floor there are two comfortable bedrooms (a king size bed 160 × 200 and a double size 140 × 200) , two WC, large living room, kitchen and outdoor courtyards with pool and barbeque. The first floor also consists of two bedrooms (a king size bed 160 × 200 and two single 090 × 200), a WC, kitchen, living room and a large terrace with beautiful view.

Relax on Episkopi Beach: Episkopi Beach is just a few minutes from our villa and offers a long stretch of sand, calm waters, and plenty of space to relax and soak up the sun. Hike in the nearby mountains: The mountains surrounding Episkopi Rethimno offer plenty of opportunities for hiking, with trails of varying difficulty levels and stunning views of the coastline. Take a trip to Lake Kournas: About 15 minutes from Episkopi , Lake Kournas is the only natural freshwater lake on Crete and is surrounded by picturesque countryside. Visit the Melidoni Cave: Located about 25 minutes from our villa, the Melidoni Cave is a natural wonder with impressive stalactites and stalagmites. Taste local cuisine: Crete is known for its delicious food and drink, so be sure to sample local specialties like dakos, feta cheese, and raki. Visit the Museum of Ancient Eleutherna: This museum is dedicated to the ancient city of Eleutherna, which was one of the most important cities in ancient Crete. It's located about 30 minutes from the villa. Take a day trip to Chania: The beautiful city of Chania is about an hour's drive from Episkopi Rethimno and features a picturesque old town, a Venetian harbor, and plenty of shops and restaurants. Go horseback riding: There are several stables in the area that offer horseback riding tours through the countryside, giving guests a unique perspective on the beautiful landscape. Explore the caves of Matala: Matala is a seaside village known for its beautiful beaches and unique caves, which were used as dwellings in ancient times. It's about an hour and a half from the villa. Visit the Fortress of Rethimno: This historic fortress is located in the heart of Rethimno and offers stunning views of the city and the sea. It's about 25 minutes from the villa.
