The accommodation of the apartment is on the southeast side of the island of Vis in the small village of Rukavac, on a hill above the beautiful beach of Srebrne. The apartment is located on the first floor of a family home, with a separate entrance. The apartment has two bedrooms (one larger and one smaller with two single beds that can be made into a large double bed). The living room has two sofas, one pulls out into a double bed 160cm and the other can sleep one person. The sofas are good quality for sitting and sleeping every day. All rooms have a ceiling fan and there is air conditioning in the hallway. The living room opens onto a covered terrace (has a ceiling fan) with a large table and bench. The apartment has 64 m2 and a 22sqm terrace. A vacation in Rukavac is ideal for guests who want to enjoy a peaceful vacation, a true Mediterranean atmosphere, clean sea and quiet beaches, tour the island by bike or car. There are many smaller beaches like Teplush and the Old Rukaway nearby, and there are many hidden beaches where you will have complete privacy. The surrounding islands are ideal for those with an adventurous spirit, who can visit the islet of Ravnik and the natural phenomenon Green Cave. The island of Vis offers a true Mediterranean atmosphere with a superb and rich gastronomic offer, beautiful nature and clean sea. The distance from the sea is 400 m. Pebble beaches are 10 minutes away from the house, on foot.

Rukavac is a small cove located on the southeast side of the island of Vis. It is a bay with family houses (with or without rentals) and is a great place for a family vacation and has many beautiful beaches with extremely clean sea and a restaurant and cafe bar nearby, but also a place to relax because it is mostly quiet and during the high season, and the island itself offers a lot of sunny days. The nearest shop is 2km from the apartment in Podstražje, but bread and baked goods are delivered every morning from the town of Vis with a van, which stops on the road next to the house. A van with fruits and vegetables comes every day. Larger shops are located in the town of Vis (10 km from the house), as well as a bank, ATMs, a post office, an ambulance, etc., The nearest restaurants are about 300 m from the house. Getting around The south side of the island (where the Rukavac is) has a bus service from / to the city of Vis once or twice a week. If you are not arriving by your own transportation, our recommendation is to rent a car or at least a scooter in the city of Vis, as this is the easiest way to explore the island. There is a free parking lot in front of the house. There is also the possibility to take a taxi to the place you want to visit. There are many nice beaches (public or hidden), restaurants and a coffee bar within walking distance from the house in Rukavac. We recommend doing your shopping upon arrival in the town of Vis.
