We are Zlata and Marko Bidovec and we created this Garden residence, which bears our name in order to give you enough reasons to return to Istria in all seasons. Around here, Mare is a shortened version of the name Marko and Goldi is the anglicized version of the name Zlata. We've been calling each other by these names for all those years that we’ve been together. Goldi and Mare. For real! Mare is also another expression for the sea, and gold is the color in which we have been seeing our home and Istria for decades. We understand our future as a GOLDIMARE experience. We want to share everything we love and know here with people who expect much more than just the beach and the sea during their vacation. We like to live in the sun, sea, and green, at all times naturally relaxed and Istrian active. That's why we created a self-sustaining garden and that's why we recently built fully equipped suites in the way that we believe how real Istrian hospitality should look like. It's that simple!
