The house is not newly built but it is recently renovated on a level enough for a pleasing stay. The furniture and all the accompanying content is new. In front of the house there is a large yard which can take many cars so that staying in the center of the town does not present a problem but an advantage.
The distance from our home to the seafront is only 200 meters, to the smaller city beach 250 m, and to the bigger, which spreads for 7 kilometers to the nearby smaller settlements, 500 meters.
Kačić square is 200 m from the house. Bus station is 250 m from the house, and the nearest airport is 64 kilometers (Airport Split).
On the onsite there is a garage suitable for cars and motorcycles, our home has a long experience of hosting bikers and cyclers so they are our beloved guests.
Family Baban is in the tourism business since 1968. Business is passed on to the third generation. We have a great deal of experience with guests from all of the world and with that we have developed a feeling and warmth for every individual, which is confirmed with our returning guests, so we hope to work with Booking com in even greater capacities.
Our neighborhood is situated in the expanded part of the old city which abounds with sights like st. Mark cathedral, a franciscan monastery with the largest collection of sea shells in the world. We are also in the vicinity of the footpath to the mountain "Biokovo" and the oldest street in Makarska, streeet "Kalalarga" which contains a lot of interesting places such as restaurants, taverns, clothing and souvenire stores, galleries and markets. Kalalarga is made of many smaller access alleys which lead to a with flowers and palms decorated harbor, which has many restaurants and caffe bars for guest to relax and enjoy gastronomic pleasures as well as many nightly happenings and festivals for the young and the old, such as "fishermans night", summer carneval, Wine Expo, many musical concerts, dance happenings in the late hours and other.
Between our house and the seafront, harbor, there is "Kačić" square which has many happenings, from morning coffe drinking routine to late night concerts and dance happenings.
