Holiday home Smokvica is very old captain's house(about 200 years).All my great,great, great-grandparents were captains. On one of the interior walls are original paintings of ships on which they sailed. The walls are built of natural stone thickness of 80 cm and therefore do not require air conditioning. Eventually, if there is very hot, sufficient light ventilation.The brand of the building is the largest pine on the Adriatic coast (next year goes into the book of the United Nations), located in the front yard and a real deep shade for afternoon relax.On the first floor is a large terrace (56 m2) with a magnificent view of the sea, surfers and the old town of Marco Polo-Korčula.It can be used for dancing, sunbathing, gymnastics and so on.In backyard is a barbecue area and a solar shower.House has a private gravel and concrete beach only 10 m fahr away.There is a boat mooring.Furniture in the house is not new, but is made of solid woods. We are on southern part of the Adriatic sea and is warmer than in the middle and northern part.Viganj the local dialect means blacksmith"s bellows.That"s why in our channel runs competitions are scored for the European and World Cup.Surf paradise

I was born 1951.g. I finished college of machinery and and shipbuilding at the University of Zagreb. I am originally from the Peljesac peninsula and there have old and reconstrucred captain's house (all my grand, grand fathers, even my father were captains) .Have my own busines and a workshop of 1500 m2 in Zadar, in the center of the Adriatic. I'm in the metal processing, steel construction, special welding and central heating and aercondition.I am not a classic tourist renter.All my guests become my friends (of course, if they want it) .I have a few hobbies: cooking (I prefer a healthy food), fishing, good wine and dance.I dance lot of dances, but the main is Argentine tango.Communicative and I love meeting new people. I speak very good English, little less German and and un po Italian. So, I am expecting you warmly and wish you a welcome .

The first house is 100 m away.You will not disturb anyone and no one will disturb you.Kafe-restaurant is 200m away, and market and center 500 m. There are several restaurants and bar to dance on the beach. Behind the house is a hill where are tombs of the ancient Illyrians. There are tourist guides for a tour of these facilities. Across the channel is the old town of Marco Polo - Korcula. In the middle of the Peljesac peninsula are great vineyards and wineries with the best wine in the world-Dingač and Postup. People had to dig a tunnel through the mountain to get to the wineyards. Worth a visit. At the beginning of the peninsula is city of Ston with the second longest wall in the world, just behind the Chinese wall. There is oyster and mussel farm with excellent restaurants. And finally there is the (only 120 km away) old and very well-known city of Dubrovnik, which you have to see. But the best is to come and discover our own beautys by yourself.
