The historic house Kuca del Mar was built in 1906, is listed as a national cultural monument of the Republic of Croatia and is under the protection of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia.
The historic house Kuca del Mar has undergone a comprehensive reconstruction under the supervision of the Monuments Office in Split.
The historic house Kuca del Mar is located in the village of Zaraće, which is classified by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia as an ethno-eco village for the preservation of the unique Dalmatian architectural style of stone houses and the way of life from the late 19th and early 20th centuries ( yr. 1890 - yr. 1910 ).
No new construction is allowed in the village, only the original stone houses can be reconstructed.
There is also a historical trail with the original stone paving still in place.
