Tramuntana Holiday Home is a beautiful vacation house located on the edge of Tramuntana forest. It was imagined and constructed to provide full comfort for the hosts’ family and their guests. Hence, it is fully equipped with all the tools, utensils and gadgets needed for longer stays. With large glass walls and skylights you will always feel connected to the nature around you. Walk out onto the two terraces to find a perfect spot for sunbathing or for shaded enjoyment around the hardwood table for twelve people. Additionally, due to guests’ desires and the island’s moto “No Stress on Cress”, in 2020 a hot tub for five people has been installed for even more relaxation and stress elimination. The house is located 300m from the most beautiful beach on this part of the island and 100m from the beginning of the Orchid tourist trail that leads into the magical Tramuntana forest. If relaxation, energy recuperation and nature exploration is what you’re after, than this is the place for you!

We host since 2017 and really enjoy meeting new people and presenting our beautiful island to them. Any questions our guests have or suggestions they need, we are at their service 24h/day. We'll help with renting a boat, booking an excursion, reserving a table in the restaurant or just deciding which event to participate in. As we live on the mainland we'll most probably not be close by during your stay. But we use all modern communications methods so no worries about getting around and deciding what to do. Also, if you wish to buy fresh lamb, fish, squid or octopus, just say the day before so we have time to arrange it! You can also use the inflatables we bought for our kids (rowing boat, pool...), scuba gear... Basically, everything in or around the house is at your disposal. Any suggestion on how to improve your holiday experience will be greatly appreciated!

Porozina is a small community of about 70 holiday homes, predominately used on weekends, holidays and for summer vacation purposes. Settlements on this spot date back to the Classical era when a lighthouse on the small hill towered above today’s port. Back then, it was simply named Pharum insulae, meaning “Island light”. In the 15th century a Gothic church of St. Nicholas and a Franciscan monastery were built. The well preserved ruins and Glagolitic stone inscriptions are still there for you to explore. Probably the most iconic feature of Porozina is its magnificent pebble beach. 120 meters long and 20 meters wide it features both the mildly steep pebble segment that disappears in the sea and the flat grass part that borders the forest. Whichever your choice might be, you can always find shade under the maple trees and you’ll never be constrained by lack of space. If you desire complete privacy, there are several more virgin beaches only accessible by boat or by forest trails. For those searching for active vacation, we encourage you to explore 2 hiking trails and the Orchid tourist trail, originating in Porozina and connecting with other ones within the Tramuntana forest.
