I am committed to making my guests feel good & comfortable at my place. We are doing our part to help you stay safe by cleaning all free surfaces well before you check-in. All bedding and towels will be freshly washed. We kindly ask that you take off and do not wear your outside shoes inside the apartment due to hygienic reasons. There is a shoe rack/closet by the main door where you can store your shoes. Considering the rise in energy prices due to the energy crisis, we ask our guests to pay close attention to their gas and electricity consumption. Ventilate 2 x 10-15 minutes max /day. When leaving the apartment, please set the thermostat to 20 degrees C during the heating season. During your stay at home, the thermostat can operate at a pleasant temperature of 22-23 degrees C. This will not exceed the daily heating limit (6m3). Sommer you can use the A/C. If you are out, please leave it on 23 Celsius, and when you return home, you can put it on 22, if you need. This will not exceed the daily electrical bill. Before you leave the apartment please check that all lights are turned off and close all windows if the heating or cooling is working. Our street is a small pedestrian street without traffic, strategically located, right next to the main shopping street of Budapest, the pedestrian paradise of Váci Street. It is a few minutes walk from the Danube and the stunning Waterfront (Duna Corzo) Promenade with its wide selection of cafes, bars, and restaurants. The world-famous Mellow Mood Hotel in Parisi Udvar is in the second building. It is well worth stopping by at least for a coffee! Parliament, Saint Stephan Basilic, Deak Square, the Synagogue, Gozsdu Court, The Big Market Hall, the entertainment /nightlife/ruin bar district, and even the Buda Castle area & Citadel are also within walking distance. We have two thermal baths in the neighborhood (Rudas and Gellért). Here you don’t need a car as you can walk easily anywhere or take advantage of the terrific public transportation system, with many bus stops (including HoppOn HoppO and Metro 3 just a short walk away. You can easily reach us from Nyugati Railway Station (It is only 3 metro stops far from Ferenciek tere), or from Keleti (The Eastern) Railway Station by taking the 5, 7, 8E, 110, 112, 133E or 178 bus. If you want to experience the city as a local or have a tighter budget for this trip, the cheapest city tour can be done with tram number 2, which runs along the Danube bank. How to find us? This 3rd-floor apartment is located in a historical, early XIX-century (built in 1841) building in the heart of downtown Budapest where the old and the new intersect. Classic touches meet modern convenience. Our house number (4-6) is not in the most visible place, but it is there, above the large, tall, almost 200-year-old wooden gate. By the way, there are a total of 3 house entrances on the left side of our rabbit-tail street: No. 2, No. 4-6, and No. 8. Ours is, by definition, the middle one. It is located between 2 Thai Massage parlors, to the right of the Hungarian Hell's Kitchen Restaurant. (they give 10% discount to my guests).

This bright, light, and airy apartment have just gone through an entire remodel. The amazing new kitchen is equipped with everything you could need, including plates, glasses, cutlery, crockery, kitchen essentials and even a juicer. Long, short, Italian and Tchibo capsule coffee makers and Nescafe are also available. We provide you with fresh bed linen and free, clean (even extra) towels. The living room has a new, very comfortable L-shaped sofa bed, coffee,- dining table, and four chairs. The bedroom has a large and comfortable bed (king size/180 cm wide) and bedside tables with lamps. There is an additional smaller room that can be used as a service room or/and walk-in closet, or as a working space where one person can separate from others. The bathroom includes a toilet and a built-in shower. If you haven't brought your own, you will find a collection of shampoo, shower gel, and other cleaning supplies. A hairdryer, iron, and ironing board are available also. We have also A/C, channel flatscreen TV, and costume LED lighting everywhere. The heating is working from October 15 to April 15. Parking is possible in the neighborhood in underground garages (in 2-8 min by foot) for an additional cost (Eur28,5-35/Day) or there is public parking under the Elizabeth Bridge. I can help you keep your car much cheaper and just as safe, but a little further away (15 min. by foot). Street parking is free at the weekends We have a grocery store downstairs in the building on the street level. From C time it is open just until midnight. Our apartment is also a good starting or ending point for those who come to Budapest for one or two-week Danube boat tours. Most of the cruise docks are close to us, even on foot. The biggest Christmas market is a 10-minute walk from the apartment, on Vörösmarty Square. There is Metro1, opened in 1896 to celebrate the Hungarian Millennium.
