Dear future guest! Let me welcome you at Erdey Apartment House. The apartment is situated 1 km from the centre of Barcs near the beach. Barcs is the „capital city” of the river side of Dráva. You can visit the Dráva museum, a Catholic church at the town centre and the spa, but there are also shops, markets, bus station, railway station and a small harbour. Near the town you can hike in the so called „Ősborókás” which is part of the Duna-Dráva National Park. The river Dráva is to be found 300 meters from the apartment. At its beach you can sunbath, swim, go canoeing, BBQ, play beach volleyball, football and there are also a playground and a restaurant. Beautiful bike route leads you from the beach the riverside along up to Drávatamási. The border crossing to Croatia is a couple of hundred meters from the house. Fishermen can fish beyond the river also in the lakes nearby (Kis-Bók, Nagy-Bók, or at Old Dráva). Szigetvár is situated 30 kms from Barcs. A castle and a spa await you here. A famous spa also awaits you in Csokonyavisonta (14 kms). Also Nagyatád (37 kms) offers a spa, a statue park and a museum. Bigger cities such as Pécs and Kaposvár both can be reached within an hour.
