We have been in the tourism industry for 15 years. One of us learnt catering as a trade, and the other has been in the beauty industry. Both of these require good communication skills and the love of being around, and interacting people. During the construction of our house, this was the reason why we decided that we wanted to share our house with the visiting guests. It’s always a joy for us to read the guest reviews and see how much they enjoyed their vacation here and how hospitable and nice they found us and the whole experience. It feels bittersweet to say goodbye to some of the guests who kind of became friends with us during their stay, but welcoming them back the next year always makes up for it.

The uniqueness of our guesthouse comes from its family friendly nature. As someone who has a big family, we know exactly how difficult it is to travel with kids, and how important it is that they have a good time, because that’s the only way the parents can have a rest and relax. That’s why we are welcoming the little ones with countless toys, and an awesome playground. However, the kids are not the only ones that enjoy the possibilities that our garden has to offer. Our new grill offers a great way for larger friend groups to bond over some delicious food, to grab a drink and enjoy the night around the fire. And even if the weather is bad, there are still things in our communal area that can help pass the time. Bunch of games, an Xbox, a huge flat screen TV which is great for watching a football game with friends or enjoying a good movie. For colder days the armchairs and the warmth of the fireplace offers a great way to relax.

Back when we were looking for a site for our partly guesthouse, partly family home, our kids were still very young. Because of this, we were looking around in calm suburbs, where they could go out cycling, rollerblading or playing badminton in front of the house, without us having to worry about them, but still being in the vicinity of the downtown area. We were exceptionally happy when we found this place, where even the thermal bath is just down the street. It’s very important for our guests that there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and groceries nearby. Moreover, wineries such as Bolyki and Gróf Buttler is only a 10 minute walk from here. And if someone wants to wander around the beautiful downtown, they only need a comfortable pair of shoes and 30 minutes.
