Apart from indulging in all the pleasures offered to you by the lake and the beach, you should pay a visit to the Festetics Castle and its impressive collections of artisan furniture from the 17th to the 19th century. The Balaton museum offers insight into the geological evolution of the lake and its fauna and flora.
The spa facilities include dry and infra red saunas, a steam room, a salt chamber and a hot tub. Bicycles can be rented from the Kristály Hotel.
Private parking is possible in the underground garage on site for surcharge.
"The food was tasty although you had to be there at the exact opening hours or else you risked not having enough to put on the plate. We liked our room, it was big and had a couch for the little one. The mattresses were comfortable."
