Waterfront Guesthouse in Nagyhegyes, near Debrecen, with a private 6-hectare estate and a 3.3-hectare fishing lake. The building is located only about 15 meters from the lake. It offers 6 self-contained apartments, each equipped with a fully fitted kitchen and private bathroom with shower. Every apartment comes with its own dedicated fishing sector and wooden pier (not directly at the building). The fishing spots are located 150–500 meters away and can be reached within a 2–10 minute walk, or by car via a gravel road. The lake is stocked with 5,000+ kg of carp and 1,000+ kg of grass carp, as well as a significant population of catfish and pike, offering excellent fishing opportunities. Shared facilities include two large barbecue and cooking areas, a 120 m² covered pavilion, table tennis, and board games for guests of all ages. Free parking and fast Wi-Fi are available on site. Guests can enjoy a peaceful, nature-oriented, and well-maintained environment. A Catch & Release policy applies to fishing. Early check-in or late check-out is available upon prior arrangement.

My goal is to help guests escape the everyday routine, put their burdens aside, and recharge while connecting with nature. I am always happy to assist. Upon arrival, I provide a short orientation and a fishing sector map, and I can help with choosing the best spot, bait tips, and local activities. I respond quickly to messages and am available 24/7 in urgent cases. Guests are kindly asked to respect the house rules and the fishing regulations.

Located in the quiet outskirts of Nagyhegyes, near Debrecen. Easily accessible by car, the area is flat and bike-friendly. Nearby attractions: Debrecen (20–25 minutes): Nagyerdő Park, Aquaticum spa and water park, Zoo, Déri Museum, and a wide range of restaurants. Hortobágy (15 minutes): the iconic Nine-Arch Bridge, traditional puszta programs, nature trails, and birdwatching. Lake Tisza (45–50 minutes): cycle route around the lake, boat and SUP rentals, Poroszló Ecocenter. Hajdúszoboszló (20 minutes): Hungarospa thermal and adventure bath. Basic services such as grocery stores, restaurants, and gas stations can be reached within 10–15 minutes by car. Free parking is available on site.
