Featuring free WiFi, a restaurant and a terrace, the beautiful beachfront BaraCoco Bungalows offers accommodation in Tanjung Bira. Free private parking is available on site. Each of the rooms features stunning sea views and spacious terrace with a hammock. The fan-cooled rooms also comes with crisp linen, a clothes rack and en suite bathroom with fresh towels. Please note that hot water is only available in the superior family room. Guests can enjoy dining on various dishes at the on-site restaurant which overlooks the white sandy beach. You can engage in various activities, such as snorkeling and diving. The guest house also offers car hire. Airport shuttle can be arranged at an added charge. Phinisi boat building area is just a 15-minute drive away where guests can see the boat-making process.

Welcome to BaraCoco Bungalows – your cozy, beachside getaway right on the sands of Bara Beach, Tanjung Bira! Our five charming wooden bungalows sit just steps from the ocean, with stunning sea views and soft white sand under the shade of palm trees, and eco warm water (from the sunshine during the daylight) for your shower. Kick back on your private terrace, sink into the hammock, and let the clear blue waters of the Flores Sea melt your worries away. On weekends and national holidays, you might come across cheerful local tourists around the beach, singing, laughing, enjoying karaoke fun, and exciting banana boat rides on the waves. It brings a lively, festive vibe to the area because the beach and the surrounding area are public places.
We love the beach!
Snorkeling and diving are guest favorites here! You can snorkel right in front of the bungalows or hop on a local boat and explore the nearby islands for even more underwater beauty. For diving, there are several dive centers in Bira ready to take you on unforgettable adventures. Want to experience something unique on land? Take a short trip to Tana Beru, the heart of traditional Phinisi boat building, and watch skilled craftsmen at work. And if you're up for a bit of a hike, Pua Janggo Hill offers a rewarding view that's totally worth the climb.
