Calista Studios are comprised of 4 x 1 BR studios, situated side by side, each with their own unique style. Nestled in a peaceful Balinese neighborhood, this is a perfect retreat for creatives and travelers who appreciate the beauty in intricate details. From the moment you arrive, you'll instantly sense that our home has been thoughtfully crafted with high-quality materials and curated international art pieces, all carefully selected by the owners throughout their travels. We warmly welcome our guests and kindly ask that you treat our home with the same care and respect that we’ve put into making it special. With its 2 floors, the clever design maximizes functionality with a cozy, comfortable atmosphere, spacious king-size bed, fully equipped kitchenette, and a work-friendly nook that's ideal for writing, sketching, or planning your next adventure. Fun Fact: ‘Calista’ is one of three neighboring properties, alongside ‘Mahira’ and ‘Amara.’ These names are a tribute to the three daughters of the warm-hearted local family who live just behind. If you're lucky, you can be graced by their presence as the family conducts the daily Balinese offerings at the temple in the garden.

We are located central to Uluwatu but 10 minutes from the main road, Uluwatu temple and all the beaches Uluwatu is known for. We are not walking distance to any restaurants or cafes. You will need transport to get around. Options: book our transport team, rent a motorbike, hire a taxi or motorbike using the GoJek or Grab app. This is a quieter, more blissful area that feels most like old Bali. We hope you can indulge in the jungle oasis like we do. Use the complimentary in-house bluetooth speaker and put your favorite tunes on. The Japanese concept of Kintsugi refers to the art of mending broken pottery. Similarly, this home was built from repurposed materials. Each element has been thoughtfully reassembled and crafted. Just as a Kintsugi artist transforms fragments into a cohesive work, the creators of this space have carefully reconstructed its finishes, giving new life to what was once broken. It’s a reflection of dedication and care, and we hope you experience the warmth and serenity of this space as we intended. ** The top-floor bedroom is accessed by a steep staircase, so it may not be suitable for young children, elderly guests, or those with mobility concerns. We also have a no-kids policy to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort.
