I was born & raised in Ubud. Bali is my home, and I enjoy sharing its beauty and Hindu culture with guests. I live nearby the Villa with my wife - who is both a nurse and a lawyer - and our young son. My father is an artist and my mother works for the village credit union. I trained in hospitality at a good school in Denpasar, and have worked in tourism in Bali for 15 years. I enjoy making our guests feel comfortable and at home.
I will also be your driver on Bali, and can arrange an additional driver and minibus for larger groups.
Our village, Kutuh Kaja, is in the rice fields and close by Petulu, the heron bird sanctuary. We are a mix of some foreigners and many Balinese. There are local restaurants within walking distance and a well-stocked convenience store. Ubud has become a food mecca with a wide variety of cuisines and prices. We have information on many of them and will be happy to make recommendations.
