Located in a quiet area, only 2 minutes riding to the sunset side, villa Merbau is the right place if you are looking for a peaceful place to stay. Perfect for family time or friends meeting, you will find happiness here with the 2 nice bedrooms and bathroom, a huge pool surrounded by tropical vegetation, a cosy living room with an open kitchen. And the nice little thing: you can open all the wooden doors. Please note that our property is located in the heart of the local village, where you may hear daily sounds of community life such as the mosque’s call to prayer, chickens, and other charming local activities. This authentic atmosphere is part of the unique island experience we love to share with our guests.

Villa Merbau is located in a quiet, green part in the north of the island, where there are lots of trees, fields and birds, and a small grocery store is a short walk away. Turquoise water and great snorkelling are just a five-minute stroll away, and there are restaurants, bars and cafés dotted along the beach in both directions. With the free bikes that come with the villa, you’re just a short ride to the sunset area and into the village, where you can find yoga centres, dive centres and other activities and attractions. There are no cars on Gili Air. The best way to explore the island is to rent bikes, our team will be happy to help you with that! If you are wondering how to reach the villa from the harbor, you can jump in a horsecart. Many of them are waiting for you in front of the jetty. Our team will wait for you there and give you all the informations you need to know to enjoy your stay!
