We’re so excited to share our cozy corner of Achill Island with you. Nestled along the Wild Atlantic Way, our holiday home gives you some truly stunning mountain and sea views. You’ll be just a short stroll from Pattens Bar and the Grainne Mhaol Loop, a gorgeous coastal walk with views all around.
We’re all about local experiences here. You can trek with alpacas, try a beachside sauna, or dive into a sea safari. And if you’re feeling adventurous, we’ve got surfing, freediving, and cycling on the greenway right at your doorstep—plus high-speed fiber to keep you connected.
So, if you’re looking for a getaway that combines comfort, adventure, and authentic Irish charm, this Achill Island holiday home is waiting for you. Come for the views, stay for the experiences, and leave with a heart full of memories.
The house is Located 700m from Pattens Bar, and the starting point for the near 7km Grainne Mhaol Loop - this walk boasts stunning coastal views in all directions.
A further 1km south is Grainne Mhaol Castle, built in the 16th Century. The Achill lifeboat lies at anchor beneath the castle, once the anchorage of Grainne's fleet.
Close by is the Greenway, Achill Sound town, easy access to the rest of the island and many other routes for hiking and cycling (the Wild Atlantic Way of course). Eskape beauty salon is in walking distance.

Alice’s Harbour Bar and Restaurant, part of Óstán Oileán Acla (Achill Island Hotel), carries on the tradition of the old Harbour Inn.
