The seaside resort of Carrigart in County Donegal sits to the east of the area known as Sheephaven Bay, which stretches to Dunfanaghy in the west. Carrigart is a traditional and tidy little village, with a pleasant park which is ideal for picnics. There are two supermarkets, a take-away, café, two bars, a butcher’s and a chemist. The horse riding centre in the village can cater for all abilities, so why not see some of the spectacular surrounding countryside from horseback?
