Stunning private residence on two acres overlooking Loughrea Lake. Newly Refurbished late 2017, this is a beautiful and peaceful place to escape to. Situated one mile from Loughrea Town & 5 miles from the Galway/Dublin Motorway. Suitable as a quiet getaway, visiting friends and family locally, or basing yourself with friends and family to explore the West of Ireland; within one hour drive of Galway City, The Burren, County Clare, Shannon Airport, Connemara, or the Midland Lake District. The house is fully refurbished with fabulous views overlooking Loughrea Lake and the distant Slieve Aughty Mountains. There are 3 bedrooms, one king size bed with walk-in shower,(purple room), and two double bedrooms, (mocha and green). Green en-suite. There is a main bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower. The kitchen/living area has a large dining table and a beautiful view with sliding doors.

While the residence is very near Loughrea Town, there is plenty of room and a large kitchen/living room for entertaining. If you are attending a local wedding in Loughrea, or family gathering perhaps, it might just be the place for you and friends or family to stay. If you want to go out there are plenty of restaurants to choose from,as well as plenty of pubs to frequent. As the name suggests, Loughrea is home to a Blue Flag Lake. Swimming is permitted, Lifeguard on duty in the Summer months. There are a couple of pedestrian walks near the Lake. The town is home to St. Brendan's Cathedral, known for it's spectacular stained glass windows. There is a Museum on the grounds of the Cathedral as well.
