Situated on the banks of the Royal Canal, the apartment offers a view of the canal harbour, is on the Royal Canal Way adjacent to the 18th Lock and is located between the villages of Kinnegad and Killucan (Eircode N91KD26). It is less than an hour’s drive from Dublin and 20 minutes from Mullingar. The apartment sleeps up to six people. The accommodation comprises of a spacious and well equipped living/dining/kitchen area which has magnificent views over the canal harbour and the surrounding countryside. There is a shower room, two bedrooms (one double, one two singles) with two sofa beds in the living area, one opens to a four foot bed, the other a full double. There is a terrace off the main bedroom, this overlooks the canal harbour Bike storage is available for cyclists.

The picturesque setting and rural tranquility of Nanny Quinn’s makes this destination most suitable for those looking to get away from it all. We are an ideal base from which to visit many attractions including the Derrymore Springs Water Adventure Centre, Killucan, Belvedere House and Gardens Mullingar, Mullingar Arts Centre and Fore Abbey with its seven wonders is a short drive. Visit Lough Ennell, Lough Owel or Lough Derravaragh. Meander through the castle and gardens at Tullynally Castle, play pitch and putt at Tullaghan Pitch and Putt championship 18 hole course or play golf in Mullingar or Tyrrellspass. In Killucan village there are tennis courts and a lovely children's playground; both located at the Village Green. Dining Within a 15 minute drive there are a number of very good eateries. In Kinnegad there's Bracken's and Scanlon's bars, both of which serve food from 9.00am. Also in Kinnegad is Granuaile's a lovely place for breakfast or lunch; they also offer a delicious take away selection. You could drop into the Mullingar Pewter Home & Living shop and cafe, open from 9.30 to 5.00 Monday to Sunday or to the Cloughan Inn - open Thursday to Sunday. For a quiet drink drop into Ennis's bar in Killucan village.
