Nestled in the foothills of the Bluestack Mountains in Barnesmore Gap, only 10Km from Donegal Town with it's historic 15th-century castle, and a 15 minute drive from the famous Harvey's Point Hotel, The BaaHouse is a quiet, peaceful countryside suite where you can relax & unwind. This modern, luxurious, studio space boasts extraordinary mountain views.
Ideal for singles, couples and couples with one child under two are welcome.
Close to the Wild Atlantic Way, with 3 glorious Blue Flag, white-sandy beaches at Rossnowlagh, Murvagh and Bundoran within easy reach, this is a great base from which to explore the incredible hiking trails and great waves for surfing, live music, great food and breathtaking scenery that Donegal has to offer. You are only 15 minutes from Lough Eske with its two 5 star hotels and just 4 minutes from the famous Biddy's O'Barnes Gastro Pub.
The Baa House is attached to a dwelling but has its own completely, private entrance. Included in your Bedroom guest suite with en suite bathroom, is a unit with a kettle, microwave, coffee machine and fridge and there will be complimentary beverages and treats on your arrival. You also have your own a spacious entrance hallway, equipped with 2 luggage racks, iron and ironing board, clothes and coat rails and shoe rack.

I’m Ali and I am so excited to welcome you to your beautiful, peaceful mountain stay. My family and I have been living here in Barnesmore Gap for over 25 wonderful years. My husband and I both work in Film and TV. I love cooking, watching films, reading and walking and running with our 14 yr old dog Barney on the stunning beaches and in the woods nearby ☀️ 🏳️🌈
You can text me anytime between 10am and 10pm.
Peace and quiet, with mountain views and surrounded by nature and sheep! An excellent location for touring Donegal, Sligo & Leitrim.
