Nestled in a quaint location, surrounded by greens, Assam Villa is your home away from home. A 44-year-old Assam-type villa, we currently have three rooms and an open cafeteria serving delicious homestyle food, covering multi cuisines. We also have a pond in the backyard - the ducks swimming and quacking around every morning and evening is a sight to behold. We ensure you have a comfortable, safe, and memorable stay.
About the host A filmmaker, an advertising professional, an author, and a media entrepreneur, Rishi Paullah ventured into hospitality with Assam Villa by Storyweavers Retreat. Co-founded with Journalist and Media professional Pritisha Borthakur, Assam Villa is a treasure trove of memories for him as he had spent his childhood here with his grandparents and cousins. Every room has a tale to tell. Rishi loves meeting new people, exploring offbeat places, and feasting on no-frills food. His first love is chai and then follows poetry, storytelling, music -not in any particular order. With Assam Villa, he wants to offer people an experience that one would cherish for a long, long time, and be back again for more. The Chef, Bhoven is a gem of a person and is always ready to make you feel at home with the comfort of good food and hospitality.
About the neighborhood The property is in a safe silent residential neighborhood. There are lots of green trees and birds around. There's a stream that flows from the far end. A short trip around has tea gardens, and paddy fields. There are also pharmacies, departmental stores, educational institutions around. Overall, one can find the basic amenities in the locality.
