Little Chembaka was started by a group of passionate people who live in the backwaters of Kerala and want to make lasting connections between travelers and the local people. We have a one-bedroom villa, a shared dining place, and a group of fun-loving locals. The small canoes and kayaks at our location make sure that you will get a chance to explore the narrow canals through which the bigger boats and houseboats can't cruise. You will have plenty of options to be with the locals while enjoying small activities hosted by the neighboring- people. Our neighborhood is a tranquil place with serene views of the backwaters around. Once you are here, you can meet the local people with warm smiles, know more about their livelihood and explore about their ways of living. You can take part in a village walk, learn local handicrafts, do fishing or have a visit to a nearby market and city.
