Welcome to Ïing Rim/The Old House- a Homestay Bed & Breakfast in Shillong. The house has two suites with fully functional kitchen. Suite 1 has bedroom, private study with sofa cum-bed, attached bathroom and a private verandah and Suite 2 has bedroom, private study with attached bathroom. Ïing Rim is a newly renovated colonial era Assam type house in a locality in the heart of the town and yet nicely tucked away in a residential area with hedges and old world charm.

Lawjynriew-Nongthymmai is an old Shillong locality. At one point of time, Lawjynriew-Nongthymmai was the last residential area of Shillong town before the cantonment area began. The area consisted of large estates and clan compounds. We are ten minute walk away from the palace of Mayurbhanj kings which now National Law University. 10 minutes away is also Laitumkhrah, Shillong's most multi-cultural educational hub full of cafes and restaurants. You are five minutes walk away from Shillong-Jowai road from where you can get local city buses and shared cabs to various areas of Shillong including Police Bazar and Iewduh.
