Hagi is located approx. 20 km. from Brjánslækur and approx. 36 km. from Patreksfjörður. The farm has been in the same family for over 100 years and the current farmer is the third generation farming there. Hagi is a dairy farm with around 45 milking cows, and total number of cattle is around 105. Hosts names are Haraldur and María. They have 3 grown up children and 4 grandchildren (soon 5!). Hagi is in a great location with many of the most popular tourist attractions in south of Westfjords in comfortable distance. For example: The beautiful waterfall Dynjandi, Látrabjarg, Rauðisandur and many more interesting places. Hiking trails are everywhere and the landscape is amazing. The view is spectacular; the white beaches of Barðaströnd and the many islands of Breiðifjörður. There are also many hot springs in the area where travelers can take a relaxing bath after a good hiking day. If our guests want to go for a nice lunch or dinner then there are restaurants in all of the villages in the area and Hótel Flókalundur is only in 25 km. distance. But the house also has a small kitchen and a grill if you prefer cooking at home. This house has one bedroom with 140x200 cm bed, and one sofabed - same size. It is confortable for 2 people but little thight for 4 people. But very possible! 😊😊
