Eiðavellir apartments & rooms is located in the east of Iceland only 13 kilometers from the town of Egilsstaðir which is the "captial" of east Iceland where you have shops, restaurants and a pharmacy. The Premises used to be a children's school, a dormitory and a kindergarten for kids in the surrounding area but nowadays the kids in the surrounding area all go to school in town, which left the school in Eidar needing some love and therefore perfect for our amazing guests. The apartments all contain a kitchen, with all the utensils that you should need to prepare a meal, including a barbecue. The rooms have access to a shared kitchen.

The Guesthouse is located in an old, really small village that used to be full of life when there were two different schools operated there. One of them now stands empty and the guesthouse is operated in the other. The environment around the guesthouse is beautiful and a walk around the old village is interesting. No entertainment or service is offered in this particular village but Egilsstadir, the capitol of east Iceland is only a 10 minute drive away.
