Villa Mafini is a spacious Canadian-made house with an airy garden and magnificent views of the extinct volcanoes Kerling (1538m) and Súlur (1213m), as well as the mountain system surrounding Eyjafjarðardalur, the valley and floodplain of Eyjafjarðará-river, Eyjafjörður and Hliðarfjall ski resort and Akureyri. The open plan of the hall, living room with dining area, kitchen and sun room allows all guests to stay comfortably here at the same time. Our well-stocked kitchen is an alternative to dining out. Stone floors on the ground floor heated from a local hot spring make your stay pleasant here. Oak parquet flooring in the bedrooms on the upper floor is pleasing to your eyes and feet, while a number of paintings and original wooden figures will help you relax after a long day trip. Jacuzzi and powerful shower with natural hot(80°C)water from local Brúnalaug will help rejuvenate, and beds with double mattresses contribute to a good sleep. During the summer months, there is an inflatable bubble pool(hot tub) for 4(5) people in the garden. Morning jogging and hiking are possible along the local trails and roads right from the Villa.
