Hello, we are PMC, managers of holiday homes in the Gulf of Tigullio and beyond!
The person in charge of check-in will contact you on the telephone number indicated in the reservation to organize your arrival directly with you. He will show you the house and give you the keys.
CHECK IN time is from 3 pm to 6 pm.
CHECK OUT must be done by 10 am.
Being an apartment and not a hotel, there is NO reception or staff on site 24 hours a day.
We therefore ask you to communicate your arrival time, and any updates on it, to the PMC person in charge well in advance so that he can be on time on site to welcome you.
If you have requests, need information or emergencies during your stay you can always contact PMC here on the portal or whoever will assist you with check in and we will give you the help you need.
ATTENTION :
-We CANNOT issue invoices or any type of receipt so if you are traveling for work before booking our apartment, check that you can use the Booking booking receipt for your expenses.
-The house has flights of stairs and is therefore not suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
POSSIBLE EXTRA COSTS:
1) Tourist tax
Moneglia applies a tourist tax of 1 euro/day per person (up to 7 nights) which will be collected separately.
2) Additional people to those declared: we usually ask 20 euros per night for each additional person.
3) Animals: we usually accept small/medium-sized animals and ask 5 euros per night for each animal.
4) CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT OUTSIDE TIMES are often granted, upon agreement and by paying an EXTRA COST OF MINIMUM 30 EURO to the person who will take care of the check-in (entry time slot 18-20 or early check in before 15.00). FOR LATER ENTRY TIMES, IF IT IS POSSIBLE FOR US TO ORGANIZE, THE FEE WILL BE HIGHER.
Property information
Apartment with splendid views of the city and the sea, reachable in about 5 minutes on foot as well as the central alley of Moneglia, the pedestrian area in the heart of the town with shops and restaurants a stone's throw from the beaches. Ideal for your holidays in the Ligurian town and for visiting nearby towns such as Sestri Levante and Portofino, Levanto or the Cinque Terre, reachable in about 30 minutes by train. PRIVATE PARKING.
Apartment located on the ground floor of a building of two with independent entrance and garden. Going up the stairs you will arrive on the external terrace from where you enter the house.
Upon entering you will find a cozy living room with dining table, sofa bed for two people, TV and a desk. A French window makes the room bright and allows you to go out onto the terrace and into the garden directly from the room. From here you can enjoy a splendid view of the hills, the city and the sea of Moneglia. You will also find an outdoor table for lunch or dinner outside while admiring the view on summer days or evenings.
Separated from the living room, we find the kitchen, fully equipped with gas stove, fridge and freezer, kettle, toaster, moka, blender, dishwasher, kitchen utensils and crockery and a second dining table: everything you need to prepare and eat meals during your stay. Here there is also a washing machine, which can be used during your stay, as well as a drying rack for laundry. Here too a French window leads to a rear external part.
There are two bedrooms: in the first bedroom you will find a double bed and in the second two single beds, a wardrobe and a second access to the front terrace of the house.
Finally you will find a bathroom complete with shower and toilet.
Pets are allowed for a fee.
The accommodation is equipped with PRIVATE PARKING.
There is NO air conditioning, while the heating for the winter months is autonomous.
Neighbourhood information
The apartment is located in a slightly elevated position but only 300 meters from the Dante Alighieri seafront. The beaches are 500 meters away, about 5 minutes on foot going down, to go back up as there is a slope, you can use the bus which stops about 200 meters from the house.
Also in 5 minutes you can reach the central alley of Moneglia, a pedestrian area, the heart of the historic center once crossed by farmers, fishermen, merchants and pilgrims, today it is the ideal place to stroll after leaving the beach, browsing and buying in the shops that liven up the street. In fact, here there are all the services you may need during your stay: shops, groceries and supermarkets, bakeries, tobacconists, pharmacies, bars, clubs for your evenings and restaurants that offer the best of Ligurian fish and cuisine. Moneglia is perfect for families and those with small children thanks to the low car traffic and sandy beaches with shallow water.
The wild nature of the promontory that divides Moneglia from Riva Trigoso, a hamlet of Sestri Levante, is one of the favorite places for climbing enthusiasts. The Moneglia cliff, reachable from the town along the path outside the tunnels, is characterized by an equipped wall overlooking the sea measuring approximately 90 metres. A favorite destination also for lovers of scuba diving and trekking: in the hills surrounding it there are numerous paths that can be explored on foot or by mountain bike which offer incredible views of the coast surrounded by the vegetation of the Mediterranean scrub.
Moneglia station, which is about 15 minutes walk from the apartment, is the ideal starting point for visiting the surroundings without using the car: in about 30 minutes you can reach Monterosso al Mare, before the Cinque Terre, in 20 minutes Sestri Levante, in about an hour Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino.
