Hi nice to meet you, I’m Erika, a girl from Cibiana di Cadore (Italy), I handle with my family the B&B “A la Ciasa de l’Artista” , born from a renovation of an old house built in 1867.

The B&B is located in Cibiana di Cadore, a small village immersed in the fascinating Dolomites and renowned for its beautiful Murals. "A la Ciasa de l’Artista", a recently fully renovated mansion, offers 6 bedrooms with private bathrooms. This welcoming home is the perfect location to spend relaxing and unforgettable holidays in the mountains. Homemade cakes and unique locally made jams, as well as other typical products will brighten your breakfast. The bedrooms and their private bathrooms are warm and welcoming. The discreet and harmonious decoration draws on local traditions whilst integrating modern technology such as last generation sockets, an irradiating heating system incorporated in the walls, or the modern shower with its hydromassage or chromotherapy options. A large living room provides a unique resting and meeting space for all the visitors of the B&B. Board games and playing cards are freely available and virtuosos may, upon request, enlivened the atmosphere by playing the grand piano.

More than 50 murals depicting the traditional arts and crafts of the region decorate the facades of the houses. This sumptuous open-air gallery can be admired strolling through the hamlets of the village. The Iron Museum, located in the most ancient hamlet Cibiana di Sotto, and the “Campo Base” museum are two central attractions of Cibiana. Numerous local events that attract many visitors take place during the summer season. Bicycle lovers may catch up with the nearby bicycle path. This old railway track converted into a safe path connects the different towns all the way to Austria. Through the breathtaking panorama of the Dolomites. Passo Cibiana, at only 6 km, is the departure point of many hikes during both the summer and winter seasons. The Monte Rite, culminating at more than 2100 m is readily accessible by foot or through a shuttle service available in the summer. This summit was once a strategic view point during World War I, but today the old fort is the home of the Messner Mountain Museum “Il Museo delle Nuvole”. Also to be found in Passo Cibiana is a cross-country skii trail which is Illuminated several evenings per week and is available during the winter.
