In Magliano de' Marsi, nestled in the unspoilt Abruzzo countryside, on a green reserve where guests can admire deer, wild boar and foxes in their natural habitat, the agriturismo is a peaceful oasis, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the activities on offer on the educational farm. As well as growing potatoes, wheat, spelt, maize and legumes, the farm also rears sheep, hens, rabbits and bees, which produce an excellent honey. All of the farm’s produce is grown and reared by hand, and can be enjoyed in the small restaurant.
Our family is proud to own Agriturismo il Timo. We like to host all guest as part of our family.
In surroundings rich in flora and fauna, the agriturismo is located at 730 metres altitude, and is part of the "Fattorie Didattiche d'Abruzzo" (Educational Farms of Abruzzo) project, offering its youngest guests educational days filled with games, animals, excursions and experiences up close with nature, with the aim of promoting the region's agricultural tradition. In winter, the agriturismo is an ideal base for accessing the local ski slopes, and in summer for walking and cycling around Mount Velino and the nature reserve.
