I inherited from my grandparents the knowledge of the area (from the lake to the mountains) and from my parents the knowledge that you have to take care of things to make them grow. One big family! It makes me proud to know that I have managed - and manage every day - to take care of my team that is my family, my animals (dogs, cats, horses, chickens... ) and our business. BRUNO I had the great fortune to choose courses of study that would take me to visit the world, confront different cultures and learn to appreciate people, wherever they are, finding in each one peculiarities worthy of being known. Work then crowned the dream, allowing me, with not a few sacrifices, to work with important Italian and foreign companies in the field of tourist accommodation organisation. In adulthood and after further training, the ambition became reality with the management of hotel and accommodation facilities of different characteristics. Toscolano Maderno lies on the western coast of Lake Garda and its charm is far greater than its fame. Here you will be able to admire: The Roman Villa linked inseparably with that of the Longobards, but it was certainly the Romans who shaped the territory and gave it its characteristic imprint; another aspect is offered by Mother Nature, presenting one of the oldest olive groves, recently recovered, with a native variety of olive tree (you will want to taste a little of our ‘green gold’ produced at the agriturismo). Another, more excursionist, aspect is the Valle delle Cartiere (Paper Mill Valley) with one of the first paper production settlements: the presence of a paper mill is reported as early as 1381. One of these ruins has been recovered and restored and is now home to a simply fantastic museum. It is like stepping back in time, with the master papermakers explaining the manual procedure that, starting with the rags put to soak and passing through the waxing process, gave life to the sheet of paper. You can see the old machinery, the steeping vats, the glue bag that the women used to wax the sheets. Children have a lot of fun: there is a path just for them, where they can take home a sheet of paper made by their own hands. Sportsmen and holidaymakers also love this area because of the particularly mild climate or the wide choice of activities they can do during their holiday: relaxing on the beach, horse riding, trekking, sailing, surfing, biking, golfing at the nearby Bogliaco Green and even climbing.
