We are a family of farmers and cattle ranchers. We like to socialize with clients. We have many traditions of the Cilento. The agriculture and the breeding give the basic elements for a typical traditional cooking of Cilento. In September and October the farm Zio Cristoforo do the harvest of the grape to do the wine of our wineyard. In October, November and Dicember the family is employed in the harvest of olives. The oil of olives is used during the cooking. In autumn the arounding place gives different kind of fruits as nuts, mushrooms and cestnuts. The month of December is dedicated to the slaughter of the pig whose meat are prepared sausages proposed at any time during the year. In spring we begin to prepare the vegetables and summer vegetables: tomatoes, beans, eggplants, peppers ... All year is proposed seasonal fruit: oranges, tangerines, plums, cherries, figs, pomegranate, jujube, persimmon ... The breeding company is based mainly on goats of Cilento and farmyard animals such as chickens, hens and rabbits. All the production is used daily to delight the palates of guests. In addition, we also prepare jams and vegetables into the oil.

Casalvelino is situated in the middle of the Natural Park of Cilento, surrounded by olive trees,on the hills that face the gulf of Velia. Marina is a small village of the small town offers wonderful sands interrupted by a small touristic harbour. Numberless are the fishermen you can meet at the local harbour who will be ready to take you for tourist fishing you can enjoy the atmosphere of the patronal feast that are celebrated in the ancient traditional ways and keep alive the folk fascination. Zio Cristoforo is a farm situated in a place from where you make excursions in all the area of the Parco Nazionale Del Cilento you can go in jeep trhogh the ancient villages and sanctuaries of the hinterland and enjoy your sight with enchanting land scapes bus sevice for the archeological areas of Paestum and Velia. You can rent also cars and bycicles and make sea excursions in wooden boats to Punta Licosa,Palinuro, Pisciotta.
