Tenuta di Paganico is a historic organic farm. Located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, at the gates of the medieval village of Paganico and on the Montecucco DOC wine road. The farm now covers 1,500 hectares, planted with vineyards, olive groves, arable land and woodland; Maremmana cattle, Maremmana mares and Cinta Senese pigs graze here in the wild. Guests can stay in the centre of the estate, ‘La Fattoria’, which has always been the manor house and the heart of the activities. Not far away, immersed in nature, is the Podere with swimming pool ‘I Roggeti’, once inhabited by a family of sharecroppers. We offer the possibility of walks, horse riding, wine tasting and many other local products.

Immersed in the quietness of the Maremma countryside while being easily accessible by all means, the Bio Tenuta di Paganico, offers its guests seven flats of different types, six of which are in the old renovated farmhouse ‘I Roggeti’ and one in the historical Villa Padronale of the Estate, ‘La Fattoria’ with its ‘Casa Di Caccia’, where hunters used to meet in the evening. Ample green spaces, barbecues, the swimming pool just 1.5 km from the location at the ‘I Roggeti’ farmhouse, horseback rides or simple walks through the Estate's woods and plains to meet the herds of curious Cinta Senese pigs in the wild. Always a hunting reserve, here it becomes customary to live with pheasants, hares, roe deer, foxes, fallow deer, nutria and birds. And then the opportunity to learn more about the many activities of the Estate and its project to re-evaluate history and the environment, the strategic position with respect to the major Tuscan tourist centres, make a stay at this farmhouse of great interest, both cultural and tourist. The nature of the Maremma, the great protagonist at Tenuta Bio di Paganico, will then think with its sounds, its colours, and also its silences, to make the difference in the memories that guests will keep of their holiday here.

How to reach us: By Car: state Motorway SS 223 from Siena to Grosseto. Exit Paganico, 25 km from Grosseto. Drive for 2 km more towards Monte Amiata and watch the road signs on the right to 'Agriturismo I Roggeti' and 'Tenuta di Paganico'. By Train: on the Firenze- Empoli- Siena- Grosseto- Orbetello railway. Get off at the Civitella-Paganico station. By Bus from Firenze (direct or with change in Siena): (Piazza Adua, in front of the Santa Maria Novella railway station) for Siena-Grosseto, get off at Paganico.
