Lari is located on a hill, a 30-minute drive from the sea, inland, 20 km between Pisa and Livorno, not far from cultural cities like Florence, Volterra and San Gimignano. The village is surrounded by hills with olive groves and vineyards, as well as large plains that stretch to the sea. In the center of Lari, about 1.5 km away, there are grocery stores, fruit and vegetables; a bakery (with fresh bread also on Sundays); butchers, bars, restaurants, a bank, post office, a pharmacy, a newsagent, a boutique and a watchmaker. A few kilometers away are shopping centers, the villages of Perignano and Ponsacco as well as the town of Pontedera. In 30 minutes by car you can reach the pinewoods of the coast, with the seaside resorts of Calambrone, Tirrenia and Marina di Pisa.
