My B&B, Buongiorno Caprarola, is a choice born out of my love for my hometown and the need to return home. The property is located in my family villa, which I have completely renovated, and from there came the idea of creating a comfortable and well-cared-for environment where guests can feel at home. Tuscia is a territory full of art and history, ready to be discovered and to make your trips more enjoyable. A true gem is our famous Palazzo Farnese, which attracts tourists from all over the world every year! Our four-legged friends are more than welcome, and I wouldn't want to be without them myself! The location is surrounded by greenery, yet it is in a populated area, allowing you to breathe tranquility at any time of the day! Ciao!! I’m Claudia, and I’m happy to welcome you to my B&B, Buongiorno Caprarola. This is This is my most recent adventure… yes, because I have always run my own businesses, even in different fields. My main activity has been in the world of beauty and wellness: I have been working in this field since I was twenty, both in my own centers and as a technical instructor for leading companies in the aesthetics sector. I collaborated with the prestigious beauty farm "Villa Paradiso" and taught this subject at regional schools. I have owned a bar, collaborated with a restaurant, I have a hobby of breeding Ragdoll cats, and now, this “dream” that has been in the making for three years!!!

Caprarola is a village in the Tuscia region of Viterbo, nestled in the ancient Etruscan territory, located about 1 hour (60 km/37 miles) by car from Rome. It is one of the most important hazelnut production areas in Europe and is known for this as the "City of Hazelnuts." It is also crossed by the Via Francigena, which is undoubtedly the most famous and ancient of the great routes leading from the northern part of the region to Rome, passing through magnificent landscapes, ancient villages, and protected natural areas, from Tuscia to the heart of Christianity. This medieval village boasts a beautiful historic center, developed along the "Via Diritta," culminating in the large square dominated by the majestic Palazzo Farnese, a 16th-century residence of the Farnese family. The territory falls within the splendid protected area of the Lago di Vico Nature Reserve, one of the most beautiful lakes in Lazio and central Italy. The landscape is unique in every season, with the changing colors of the marshland and the various tree species present, such as beech, maple, oaks, hazelnut groves, and fruit chestnut trees. Particularly striking are the beech forests of Monte Venere and Monte Fogliano, where centuries-old specimens with gigantic trunks can be admired. Caprarola is famous for being considered the "City of Hazelnuts," celebrated every year between the end of August and the beginning of September during the historic Hazelnut Festival. This unmissable event for locals and the thousands of tourists who flock to the village each year celebrates Caprarola's quintessential local product, with numerous shows, hazelnut tastings, and traditional desserts made with this PDO product.
