Si viene qui a Ca' de l'Ase solo se si amano i boschi eterni, i cieli profondissimi e fitti di stelle, la natura padrona. Chiediamo di non tenere le scarpe almeno nelle camere e nei bagni e di rispettare il silenzio almeno da mezzanotte alle cinque. I nostri cani e gatti non hanno recinzioni e dormono dentro casa. Questo aspetto va considerato da chi ne ha paura o non gradisce il contatto con gli animali, prima di prenotare.
Ho scelto, assieme a mio marito Pedro di venire qui nei boschi sopra il piccolissimo villaggio di Giusvalla per essere in mezzo alla natura e poter abitare con i nostri animali e vederli felici. Ora che sono padrona del mio tempo lo occupo per curare la terra, le piante e per cucinare: cose che ho sempre amato fare ma a cui dedicavo il tempo rubato al lavoro. Sono molto felce. E fortunata.
Ca' de l'Ase si trova sulle alture di Giusvalla, in alta Val Bormida. Siamo a meno di mezz'ora da spiagge tra le più belle della Liguria, a dieci minuti dall'Alta Via dei Monti Liguri e al centro dei suggestivi percorsi storici napoleonici.
