Our enchanting Tuscan stone house is in the small village of Faltognano and has a delightful, welcoming annex for guests with an independent entrance and all the home comforts. Outside the garden is at your disposal for spending hours relaxing in the tranquillity of pristine nature. From the terrace you can enjoy stunning views over the magnificent olive groves across the green rolling hills all the way to the sea.

The property was already in existence at the time of the Leopoldino Land Registry of 1763 (see attached photo) under the name Casa della Noce and located on the property ‘La Noce’ that had belonged to Ser Piero Da Vinci, father to the great genius Leonardo da Vinci. The house where Leonardo was born is nearby, just a short, 500 metre walk immersed in nature will take you there. Continuing along the path, you’ll arrive at the pretty village of Vinci set among vineyards and olive groves. The area is strategic as it is equidistant from the main cities of art in Tuscany, such as Florence, Pisa, Siena, Lucca and Livorno. In addition, the area is surrounded by stunning landscapes and villages nearby such as Cerreto Guidi, the summer residence of the Medici family, and San Miniato, home of the famous white truffle, for fascinating days out.
