Dear Guests of our Casa Filomena, Wi are Filomena and Edi, owner of this apartment and we live in South Tyrol. In the warm months of summer, we offer you our second home, because in this period, we like to enjoy our beautiful mountains. Also, we are not the best swimmers 😊 It is our olive trees in Nago/Torbole, who lead us near Garda Lake. Nago is located north of Torbole, at the foot of Castel Penede and at the gates of Lake Garda: the area offers enchanting views and an environment characterized by magnificent Mediterranean vegetation. In Nago there are the ruins of Castel Penede, which can be visited today and are located on an exceptional panoramic point and surrounded by a beautiful park. In Nago there are also several restaurants, bars, a market, a pharmacy, games for children and many nature trails to do on foot or by bicycle. Unmissable are the Marmitte dei Giganti and Busatte paths that lead to Torbole, as well as the old Santa Lucia mule track. In Nago there is also a rock climbing gym, it is possible to go hiking on Monte Altissimo and rent bicycles. The beaches of Torbole are just over a kilometer away and are all suitable for bathing, while in nearby Riva del Garda you can admire the Varone waterfalls, the MART in Rovereto, the cable car that takes you to Mount Baldo in Malcesine and the medieval village of Tenno. The town is well served by buses.
