An apartment in a newly renovated 17th century house with views of the castle of Serralunga d'Alba and the surrounding vineyards, which you can enjoy from any room or from the small balcony that belongs to the apartment. Suitable for a romantic stay (no other guests in the neighborhood), wine tasting trip (famous Barolo vineyards and wineries are all around) or a family stay, making use of the fully equipped kitchen. The space: - 2 bedrooms (double bed and two single beds) equipped with everything you need, from bed linen, pillows and reserve blankets to reading lamps - fully equipped kitchen with fridge, electric kettle and De'Longhi coffee machine - bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet (second bathroom available for 3+ guests), towels included, hairdryer available - suitable for business stay as well (desk in the corridor, free wi-fi available in every room) - washing machine and iron available - centralised heating control available - airconditioning available in all the rooms. - none of the above is shared, the apartment is lockable and is only rented to one guest/group of guests per time The second bathroom is available only for groups of 3-4 people, but can be unlocked also for smaller groups for a small extra cleaning fee if needed. Location The apartment is on the ground floor of a house located in Castelletto, in the hills of the Barolo area. It is a 6-minute drive from the charming village of Monforte d'Alba (nearest grocery shop, ATM and pharmacy) and 12 minutes from the village of Barolo itself. Further distances by car: Perno 5 min (nearest restaurant, reachable also by walk through vineyards) Gallo 11 min (nearest supermarket) Alba 12 min (nearest larger city, home to the annual White Truffle Fair) Wine The family's Barolo wine is stored in oak barrels in the cellar directly below the apartment. We invite you to taste all the wines the family produces, at the Chionetti winery, which is 15-minute drive away.
