Casa Paradiso is in an idyllic private location in a national park surrounded by woods and meadow with stunning views. The house is spacious and comfortable with free WiFi, private parking, bed linen and towels, satellite TV, terraces, fireplace and BBQ. 5 minutes by car are shops, restaurants, pools and tennis courts. The house is ideal for families, pet owners and biking / sports enthusiasts with plenty of space for two families.
We are a family of five, with three daughters and live in London. We bought Casa Paradiso, after living and working in Italy. We love the house both because of its peaceful location and its closeness to the many experiences and activities around Lake Garda.
The nearby supermarkets and restaurants of Vesio are 5 minutes by car. Nearby are the villages of Tremosine and the world famous Strada della Forra - a breathtaking road down to the lake which Winston Churchill described as the 8th wonder of the world. We also often spend days by Lake Garda shopping in Riva (which has a weekly market) or catching a ferry from Limone across the lake to Malcesine (which has a cable car up Monte Baldo). Especially in the high season after a day in the heat of the Lake we enjoy returning to the peacefulness and cool of the house. There are many sporting opportunities on the doorstep including mountain biking on the famous "Passo Nota" and "Passo Tremalzo" routes near the house or hiking on the many well marked trails nearby. Within 5 minutes drive are tennis courts, bike and ebike rental and 2 excellent outdoor swimming pools. We also frequently drive to the lake to windsurf / kitesurf at the sailing centre at Campione, enjoy the beach at Limone, or sail or take out a pedalo at Riva. Access to the house is via a gravel road, which may be unsuitable for low suspension cars
