Casa Pramosio is a newly refurbished mountain residence on a remote location on top of a mountain on the Carnic Alps, near the border between Italy and Austria. The lodge is surrounded by the spectacle of Alpine nature. Facing South-west, it enjoys amazing sunsets over the Zoncolan and Coglians (Hohe Warte) mountains For one hundred years the lodge was used as a military outpost. Today is your base camp for your hiking and mountain sport adventures in the on the Carnic Alps. Following an extensive redevelopment, today the Lodge is ideal for families and groups of friends that want to experience the mountains in their purest way. The lodge is located at 1,600 meters above sea level, on a ledge above the Malga Pramosio, a popular alpine restaurant and artisan cheese maker, surrounded by wilderness and the protected Pramosio forest. Casa Pramosio is accessed from an unpaved, yet comfortable mountain road which cuts through the Forest of Pramosio. The surface of the last section of the road is a bit uneven and requires suitable cars but you can also leave the car in the parking of the Malga Pramosio, c. 200 meters below the house. The lodge has a large and cosy living area on the ground floor, ideal for communal dining and the enjoyment of the local gastronomy. The lodge has four brand new bedrooms (two with king size beds and two with double beds) on the first floor of the lodge, cosy and spacious, for you to relax and rest after your excursions and mountain sport activities. Each bedroom has its own private en-suite bathroom. The top floor is a large open plan space with modern professional gym equipment and space designed for yoga, wellness activities, relax and children games. A spacious parking outside and below the house can comfortably accommodate four cars.
