Casa Riccardi is on the first floor of an old, elegant palace of the historical center of Putignano that preserves and enhances the charm of things and images of the past. fine furniture and antique floors are the setting for an atmosphere of yesteryear. The building dates back to 1600 and in it lived Maria Caterina Riccardi, heroine of the Risorgimento.
With us you can live immersed in the traditions of Putignano, from Carnival to religious rites and in the center of the old town. Our property is located in a prime location with everything on your doorstep, eg. the best restaurants.
Putignano is a town of the longest and oldest carnival in Europe! It 'full of beautiful historical monuments: churches, the palace of the Prince and the Knights of Malta, noble palaces. It is located in a strategic position as it is surrounded by major tourist destinations in the Valle d'Itria and you have the chance to have them all at your fingertips: Alberobello, Castellana Grotte, Polignano, Monopoli, Conversano! Just around our hotel there are taverns and restaurants amazing where you can learn about the fabulous history and rich traditions Apulian cuisine!
