A few metres away you will find everything you might need, from typical trattorias with a view of the sea to delicatessens for quick meals; tobacconists (24h), ATMs and minimarkets, all within easy reach. Finally, you will be won over by the bakeries with the intoxicating smell of freshly baked bread and hot food, and the classic kiosks for enjoying fresh, thirst-quenching local specialities.

Acitrezza, a hamlet of Acicastello, is a village with an ancient fishing tradition that faces the Ionian Sea in front of the small archipelago of the Ciclopi Islands, a site of natural and geological interest. There is a wide variety of venues such as restaurants, pizzerias, bars, ice-cream parlours and pubs. During your stay in Acitrezza, you will be able to enjoy its crystal-clear waters in the equipped facilities and, for those who love experiences in close contact with nature, you can reach the Lachea Island and dive into the heart of the Marine Protected Area of the Isola dei Ciclopi. All this can be enriched by boat excursions, scuba diving and trips out of town to visit Mount Etna, Europe's highest active volcano, as well as the most interesting towns on the Sicilian east coast such as Taormina, Syracuse, Noto, etc. Aci Trezza is also known for being the place where the novel 'I Malavoglia' by Giovanni Verga and the film 'La terra trema' by Luchino Visconti were set.
