Welcome to Corte Santa Marta! Brand new apartment located in an ancient 17th century building recently renovated, in the heart of the historic center of Bellano, a few steps from the lake. Located in the immediate vicinity of the Orrido, all the main services, such as bars, restaurants, shops and the pier. Ideal for going to Varenna, Bellagio and the rest of Lake Como. Convenient for reaching the Sentiero del Viandante, without having to give up the comforts of staying in the center. The accommodation is provided in a spacious studio apartment with southern exposure, located on the second floor of the building, reachable by lift. The apartment is equipped with a 2-seater sofa bed (140x210cm) with a topper (5cm), a fully equipped kitchenette and a large bathroom with a spacious shower and equipped with a smart TV, washer/dryer, dishwasher, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. Guests will be provided with sheets and towels. Access to Corte Santa Marta is from the ancient and characteristic door which opens directly onto Piazza Santa Marta, through the internal courtyard of the building. You don't need a car. The train station (all trains stop) is only 400 meters away. Parking, free and paid, are easily found in the immediate vicinity. Public and equipped beach 500 meters away.

Bellano, Lake Como, Italy. Located on the eastern shore of Lake Como. 5 km away is the picturesque village of Varenna. With a few minutes of boat travel it is possible to reach the renowned town of Bellagio and the historic villas of Lake Como. As soon as you leave the town center it's possible to take the characteristic Sentiero del Viandante, a panoramic hiking route made up largely of paths and mule tracks that runs alongside the Lecco side of the lake. Milan is 65 km away. The Swiss border is about 40 km away. By covering the distance of 90 km it is possible to reach Sankt Moritz, one of the historic towns of the Alps. The international airports of Orio al Serio and Malpensa are 65 and 100 km away respectively. The historic center of Bellano is characterized by the characteristic districts, in which it is possible to immerse yourself to come into contact with local traditions and culture. The main tourist attraction of the town is Orrido, a natural gorge created 15 million years ago by the erosion of a stream and a glacier, which, over the centuries, have shaped the rock into gigantic potholes, gloomy ravines and suggestive caves. Worthy of mention is the Church of Santa Marta, inside which is kept the "Lamentation over the Dead Christ", a precious wooden group of life-size statues depicting the Deposition dating back to the sixteenth century and attributed to the sculptor Giovanni Del Maino. Adjacent to the historic center are the characteristic small port and the pedestrian promenade along the lake, which leads to the sailing club and the lido. In Bellano and its surroundings it is possible to practice numerous outdoor sporting activities between the lake and the mountains such as trekking, mountain biking, climbing, sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, water skiing, wakeboarding, canoeing, SUP, paragliding.
